The man himself, Ben Dasuki, is well known for his amazing flower arrangements in the industry.

 

His story began in 1988 as a driver cum florist for Bunga Chantek Pte Ltd, a premier florist located at Upper Thomson Road. In 1990, when Bunga Chantek opened a floral shop in Daimaru (Liang Court), Ben was instrumental to its floral creations and operations. Ben spent 6 solid years there honing his craft. His unwavering dedication and hunger did not go unnoticed. He was given the opportunity to travel to Japan and learn from the best in the industry.

 

Shortly after, he worked closely with Yumi Katsura Bridal House, a well-known Japanese bridal company in the 90s. His floral designs and arrangements made it to the cover page of their magazine and postcard.

 

In the mid-90s, he was with Shi-Ki florist which is located in Takashimaya. Here he honed his skills further and his creations got better. 

 

After being with several floral shops over the years, Ben started to have a following for his creations. He was offered to work with Inai Bridal Gallery, the leader of the Malay wedding business during late 90s to early 2000s. Being with Inai Bridal Gallery was testament to his innate talent in floral arrangements.

 

When Inai Bridal Gallery decided to cease operations, Ben was sought after by many wedding galleries. He joined Decorama Wedding Services and made his name for a good 14 years.

 

Over the years, he has worked with several notable names in the wedding industry like Maria J, Zulradi Wedding Services, Padi Bridal and Aurora Wedding Gallery. He was also the Bridal Bouquet sponsor for MegaExpress shows for 5 years.

 

Apart from celebrities and artistes like Aaron Aziz, Huda Ali, Magdalene Choo, and Sasha Elite, he has also served foreign dignitaries as well. One of them being the VVIP Indonesian family.

 

In early 2015, Ben decided to finally strike it out on his own. After many years, he gets to realise his dream.
